Customers pay a Service Fee

When customers purchase goods & services on FairPay, they pay a service fee on top of the items' prices.

We add the service fee at the time of purchase, where you can review and accept the total amount requested to pay. The service fee covers support & administrative costs. 

The service fee amounts to : 
For USD transactions: $0.70 + 2.5% of the shopping cart amount
For EUR transactions: 0.70€ + 2.5% of the shopping cart amount

Service Fee Examples :

Example 1:

Your customer is purchasing a 50 USD live show from you
The service fee is added on-top : $0.70 + 50 by 0.025 = $1.95 in total
Your customer pays $51.95
We charge you a payment processing fee of 5% of 50 USD = $2.25
You earn $50 - $2.25 = $47.75

Example 2: 

Your customer is purchasing a 100€ live show from you, as well as your Snapchat for 20€ and making a 50€ donation
In total, your customer's shopping cart is of 170€
The service fee is added on-top : 0.70€ + 170 by 0.025 = 4.95€ in total
Your customer pays 174.95€
We charge you a payment processing fee of 5% of 170€ = 8.5€
You earn 170€ - 8.5€ = 162.5€

When applicable, we round the Service Fee up to the nearest cent.
